Apparently I have unknowingly purchased a side charger upper. It would have been great if a tool to remove it was included with the purchase because sooner or later you have to buy it
My Bear Creek barrels are among the most accurate I have owned, and I have owned Bushmaster, S&W, Palmetto and Colt over the last 20 years. I would suggest that if someone gets a lemon from BCA, contact support. I bet they will be happy to check it out and replace it for you.

Great article. Just received 3 BCA 18" side charge SS ARs with 1:8 Wylde for mounting thermals/NV/digital Day/LRF from DNT Optics for addressing predator/varmint issues on farm. Wylde is best of all worlds for accuracy...and the kids can't chamber wrong 223/556. Love BCA for...
