  Hello, I just recently purchased a 556 left side charging upper. 10.5 inch. My only complaint is that it would not run with my BAD Lever. I had to remove it from the lower in order for the upper to fit. That makes me sad. But other than that this thing is perfect

  I use a Caldwell picatinny mount basket on my 4 side chargers. The mount on the basket can be slid forward and I mount the picatinny mount in front of my scope mounts.   For my 556 , side charging is great but with 300 blkout, I would want a capture bag for the spent brass, how do you run a bag with a side charger, wouldn't the charging handle get in the way? got to reload that brass.
