Bear Creek Arsenal is expanding its side charging platform with the introduction of our new Left Side Charging, Right Ejecting (LCRE) AR-15 lineup. This configuration blends intuitive operation with the familiar ejection pattern AR-15 owners expect, offering a practical solution for shooters who want improved control without changing their manual of arms.
Built for Efficient Manipulation
The LCRE system positions the charging handle on the left side of the upper receiver while maintaining right-side ejection. For right-handed shooters, this allows the rifle to remain shouldered and sighted while the support hand operates the charging handle. The result is streamlined manipulation during chamber checks, clearing procedures, and reloads all without breaking position.
By keeping ejection on the right side, the LCRE platform maintains compatibility with traditional AR-15 expectations, making it a natural transition for those familiar with standard configurations.

Purpose-Driven Design
Our side charging systems are engineered for durability and consistent performance. The AR-15 LCRE upper is machined to maintain proper alignment and smooth cycling, delivering the reliability customers expect from Bear Creek Arsenal. The side charging design also eliminates the need for a rear charging handle, offering a clean and functional upper receiver profile.
This configuration is ideal for range use, competition setups, and customers who simply prefer a more accessible charging solution.
Pistol-Length Options Available
In addition to standard rifle configurations, the LCRE lineup is launching with pistol-length options for those building more compact platforms. These shorter configurations are well-suited for customers who prioritize maneuverability while retaining the benefits of the side charging system.
Whether paired with a compact barrel length or incorporated into a streamlined build, the pistol-length LCRE option delivers the same intuitive charging placement in a reduced overall footprint.

Launch Date
The Left Side Charging, Right Ejecting (LCRE) AR-15 lineup officially launches on March 3, 2026. Customers will be able to explore complete uppers, pistol, and rifle configurations designed to deliver durability, smooth operation, and a user-focused charging system.
