The Magnum Research BFR is a single-action revolver that was manufactured by Magnum Research. Chambered for a wide variety of pistol calibers as well as an assortment of calibers traditionally used in rifles, the Magnum Research is a fierce and reliable firearm. Made from stainless steel and modeled after the Colt Single Action Army, this big frame revolver is hardened to withstand the rigors of firing high-pressure cartridges. Magnum Research barrels are hand-lapped and have a recessed crown to maximize bullet accuracy. BFRs are also outfitted with free-wheeling cylinders which allow users to turn the cylinder both directions when loading or removing cartridges.
